Set One: Klondike Gold Cribbage Pegs
These newest cribbage pegs designed by Barrie combine the ancient Woolly Mammoth of Alaska with genuine Yukon gold nuggets. The rich creamy color of the Woolly Mammoth is obtained from the center of the Mammoth tusk, estimated to be around 40,000 years old.
Set One: American Eagle Cribbage Pegs
These three outstanding snakewood and Woolly Mammoth tusk cribbage pegs are the unbelievable result of the combined efforts of the world famous award-winning scrimshander Bob Hergert and Barrie’s skill on the lathe.
The cabochons or tops of the cribbage pegs are carefully carved from the tusk of a Woolly Mammoth, unearthed at Fairbanks, Alaska.
The great American Eagle is scrimshanded into the Woolly Mammoth cabochon tops. Mr Hergert used extremely sharp scribes to scratch the surface of the mammoth ivory tusk and then rubbed ink into the incisions.
